Mathematics And Mechanics Of Complex Systems supports and disseminates research aimed at developing mathematical methods and tools for the study of complexity. In addition, the journal promotes and publishes original research with application in relevant mathematical fields, such as variational methods, numerical methods, and optimization techniques. These studies are not only of intrinsic interest, but can also serve as heuristics and epistemological tools for further research, and provide ways to derive predictions from postulated theories. The journal also welcomes papers that focus on and illuminate aspects of the history of mathematics and science.
Focusing on publishing papers that apply or develop rigorous mathematical methods, it aims to promote a multidisciplinary approach based on the foundations of mathematics, providing a forum for scientists from different disciplines to share a common scientific and technological vision. Topics covered include physics, mathematics, computer science, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, engineering, mathematical analysis, composites, biology, geometry, and chemistry.
